The programme for the Fair is not yet available, but will be published as soon as possible.
Cutting-edge forestry machinery will be present at Asturforesta 2017. Everything in Asturforesta revolves around demonstrations. The stars of the fair are, without a doubt, spider excavators, self-loaders and skidders and brushcutters, with past editions also exhibiting new advances in biomass technology.
Each exhibitor will organise demonstrations with their machines on their own plot, except where common areas need to be used, in which case a schedule detailing times, companies and machines carrying out the demonstrations will be available.
SAFETY AND RISK PREVENTION
A fair of this type provides unparalleled advantages in showing forestry work under real conditions, but in turn generates potential risks, both for the persons operating the machines and for the general public watching such demonstrations, with the subsequent challenge this poses to the organisation.
Asturforesta therefore has a Safety Committee made up of representatives from all the public safety institutions of the Principality of Asturias, as well as of companies working in the field of occupational risk prevention, charged with ensuring the safety of all participants.
Asturforesta is a working forestry fair, with machinery at work around access paths and roads and throughout the grounds. The visit to the fair is at your own risk. Both workers and visitors must follow all safety rules. The safety team will work to ensure that all safety rules are complied with. Please respect their warnings and follow their instructions at all times!
The grounds will be divided into safety zones, each duly marked and subject to minimum safety rules which must be followed when in that zone.
